CreditPulse Privacy Policy
How we process your information when providing credit score evaluation services.
CreditPulse (hereinafter referred to as the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection rules when providing credit score evaluation services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, the purposes and methods of processing, how long information is retained, with whom it may be shared, and how you can manage your information. Please read this Privacy Policy before using the App. Sensitive permissions will not be automatically authorized merely because you continue to use the App; relevant authorization will be obtained through a separate confirmation interface.
1. Scope of Collection and Processing Purposes
We follow the principles of necessity and proportionality and collect only information directly related to our credit score evaluation services.
1.1 Information Required for Service Operation
After you confirm this Privacy Policy, the App may obtain the following information to identify device environment risks, maintain network and account security, prevent fraud, and serve as reference factors for credit evaluation:
- App List on the Device: We read the list of applications installed on your device to determine whether there are abnormalities or risks in the device environment, thereby helping improve the accuracy of credit evaluation.
- Basic Device Information: We collect device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to safeguard service security, identify abnormal behavior, and improve the App’s performance on different devices.
1.2 Camera Permission Requiring Separate Activation
The camera permission is not enabled by default and will be used only after you explicitly consent.
- Use Scenario: When you submit an issue through the “Feedback” or “Customer Support” feature, you may use the camera to take photos or videos so that we can more clearly understand the situation you report.
- Authorization Choice: The camera permission is optional. Even if you do not enable it, you can still use the core credit evaluation features and submit feedback via text.
2. Authorization and Withdrawal
The basis for processing the above information includes your consent and processing necessary to provide services to you, safeguard service security, and prevent fraud. Your consent should be freely given, specific, and informed, and will be recorded electronically through the App’s separate authorization interface.
You may disable the camera permission at any time in your device’s system settings. After disabling it, we will no longer collect information through that permission; however, processing already carried out based on your consent before disabling will not lose its validity as a result.
3. Information Security
We adopt reasonable and appropriate technical, organizational, and management measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and access controls, in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data and prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. We also continuously maintain and improve our security protection capabilities.
4. Information Retention
We retain your information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When the retention period expires, you cancel your account, or the relevant information is no longer necessary for the collection purposes, we will delete or anonymize the relevant information.
5. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection rules, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to be informed: To know whether your personal information is being or has been processed, and the purposes, scope, and methods of processing.
- Right to object: To object to the processing of your personal information.
- Right of access: To request access to the content, source, recipients, and processing methods of your personal information held by us.
- Right to rectification: To request correction of inaccurate or erroneous personal information.
- Right to erasure or blocking: To request deletion or blocking of information when it is incomplete, outdated, false, improperly obtained, or no longer necessary for the collection purposes.
- Right to data portability: To obtain a copy of your data being processed in an electronic and structured, commonly used format.
To exercise the above rights, please contact us using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Policy. We will respond to your request within the prescribed period.
6. Protection of Minors
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have unintentionally collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy in response to regulatory requirements, service changes, or adjustments to data protection rules. If material changes are involved, we will notify you through in-app announcements or pop-ups. The updated policy will apply from the effective date indicated in the announcement or pop-up.
